New Pickleball Paddles for Fall 2026: What Changed and What to Buy
Every fall brings a wave of new paddles, but this year comes with a real rule change underneath it. If you are deciding whether to upgrade, here is what is actually new.
The rule change in plain terms
As of October 1, USA Pickleball measures spin as a number, using high-speed cameras, and any paddle certified from now on has to stay under 2,100 RPM. Paddles already on the approved list are grandfathered under the rules they passed. Nobody needs to retire a paddle, but future models will be tuned to this ceiling.
The new arrivals
JOOLA Power FX
Why it matters: it is JOOLA’s first full-foam paddle, 16mm thick, on the Propulsion Core. The catch: it lists near $180. Best for: players who want a softer feel without losing pop.
Enhance MPP Turbo
Why it matters: ArmorGrit is Enhance’s new durable surface, and the price sits around $120. The catch: it is a new surface, so long-term wear is unproven. Best for: budget-minded players.
Holbrook Fuze VantaGrit and RPM Jade
Holbrook adds a new grit to its dual-density Fuze, while RPM releases its first foam-core paddle. Both are early in their life, so wait for independent testing.
Bread & Butter Loco 2
The follow-up to the original Loco, with a Space Dust Grit surface. No date or price has been announced, so it is one to bookmark rather than buy.

What this means for your next purchase
